Conditions

Plans for the 2007 Laura Folk Fair to be held on April 5th and 6th are now well under way. As the Fair has attracted a great deal of interest and support over the years, there is an increasing demand for stall space. Therefore our preparations need to begin early.

The Committee has set out the following CONDITIONS:

1. Each organisation may apply for one stall only. All stalls at the Laura Folk Fair are approximately 2.5 metres x 2.5 metres x 2.2 metres high with hessian on three sides and the roof. One trestle table is supplied with the stall. Corner sites shall not extend further than 1 metre wide of the stall. No stall shall extend further than 1 metre in front of the stall.

2. Stall hire, less a $10 administration fee, will not be refunded unless one months notice of your inability to attend is given.

3. All stall sites must be cleared by 5:30pm on Sunday to facilitate removing of stalls.

4. All stallholders MUST display vehicle permits and may park in designated areas.

5. Stallholders not complying with these conditions may be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

6. ALL FOOD and DRINK stallholders must forward a copy of Product Liability Insurance Cover valid at the time of the Folk Fair to be returned to the Secretary by 25th February 2008 (pickles, jams, sauces, etc are classified as foods).

You will be notified of the success or otherwise of your application by mid December. Consideration will be given to those who have held similar stalls in the past.

Site hire for 2008 is $125 for the weekend or $90 per day. Single Phase Power is available at $35 for weekend. Organisations will need to supply their own extension leads with E.L.C.B's. Additional trestles ($20) and chairs ($5 each) are available for hire. Stallholders may not remove chairs from the street for personal use on their stall.

Should yor organisation wish to apply for a stall space , return the application form, together with a cheque for the appropriate amount by 15th November 2007. Stall space cannot be guaranteed after that date. Cheques to be made payable to the Laura Folk Fair Inc.
